any ideas for events etc?

hey Laura good job with everything so far, we have a website and a bebo page, WOW!!!

plans for this year hmmmm, im liking the whole trip to paris thing i think we should do it around the xmas hols, (simply for selfish reasons because if its in the easter break i probably can;t go becuase that is when the Colours races are on!)

we need a plan to get lots and lots andlots of people to join and then get them to stay. oh we could also have a french music night, with french people teaching us any french dances (if there are aby i have no idea) and we could merge it with the Irish society and have a random irish/french ceili thingy. Just a random thought.

plan for getting people to join? was thinking of finding out when first year arts have their big french lecture, and going into it making an arse of myself (or if anyone else will volunteer!) doing a big 'come join frenchsoc it'll be fab speech! i don't know if you get them all the way over in rebuck....

im liking it want help planing your amazing speech, because im your man! although improvisation is good too, spontenaity and all that. good pla though. we could advertise to other years too, say that french soc is under new management and now it is bigger and better than ever!
